Steampunk Lightsaber Parts

Description

I seem to have gotten some artistic mojo back!

First it was a friend's Arcane Lightsaber [link] , and then started meshing out the Klingon K'Vort, and now I've taken a dive into Steampunk.

Inspired by the wonderful work at SILLOF's WORKSHOP [link] I've gone about designing my own version of a gaslight/steampunk lightsaber.

Aside a power cable and a battery box, I think I'm done. I can't think of any other items to stick on this thing. So I present the Light Shaft Arc Beam Remodulator. Or Light SABRe for short.

Either that or I've built a steampunk Proton Thrower for an 1880s Ghost Buster...

I though of something and thought to say it-

Some factors of enginierring are deceptive-

One particular thing to consider is that larger parts can be confined to a workable area if volume is used to max effect

So if a tube takes up 5x the space, the funny thing is that increasing exterior dimensions increases volume by a greater degree ...

1x1x1= 1
2x2x2= 8

Meaning with the right inter connectedness, even Stan punk crude parts can me made effecting with minimizing space between...

Though this will still likely make a heavier device anyway... But this can be compensated for, I'm sure

Though I've always had doubts with a cord connected battery pack, it's understandably better than nothing
