Legend of Zelda: Octorokby ~lady-die

Here's aother creature from the Legend of Zelda menagerie: a cephalopod which creeps around many regions of Hyrule. I present the Octorok! A stone spitting octopus that crawls about on land.

This one took me a bit of work to get done as I was having difficulties sculpting the body. Organics aren't that easy for me (my gallery is full of machines!) and there was a bit of research into what makes a tentacle creature like squid, octopi and nautilus. Instead of creating two colors, this Octo has chromatophores which it uses to change it's appearance! From shades of red to blue, and even mimicking it's surroundings as a form of camouflage. To complete the creature, I added in the parrot-like beak in the mouth tube.
